Mayor's Pickleball Open

Grove City Mayor Richard L. “Ike” Stage hosts the
annual Mayor’s Pickleball Open.

When: Saturday, Sept. 14, 9 a.m.

Where: The Park at Beulah, 3700 Glacial Lane

Tournament Structure

• Teams of two; open doubles

• Round-robin format

Five-match guarantee

The tournament features four divisions at the designated times. Twelve team maximum in the lower three divisions.

• Rating of 2.5-3.0 – 9 a.m. to noon

• Rating of 3.0-3.5 – noon to 3 p.m.

• Rating of 3.5-4.0 – 3 to 6 p.m.

• Rating greater than 4.0 – 9 a.m. to noon  (six team maximum)

Registration

• Cost is $100 per team and includes a T-shirt and swag bag for each player.

• Registration opens at 8 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 15.

  • Grove City residents (at least one resident per team) 

• Register online, account required, or in person at the Kingston Center, 3226 Kingston Ave.

Prizes

• Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each division.

• Winners' names are added to the Mayor’s Pickleball Open Trophy displayed at the Parks and Recreation office in the Kingston Center.
