The cost to reserve 1(one) space for the first 7 weeks is $105 and each additional space ( max. 2 additional spaces) for the entire 7 weeks is $84 per additional space. For those vendors who reserve spaces on a week-to-week basis, the cost is $20 per space.

1. Market Location and Dates: The Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market will be held in Historic Grove City Town Center, every Saturday from May 11th – September 14th from 8:00 a.m. and closes at 12:00 Noon. The GPS location for the Market is 3444 Park Street, Grove City, OH 43123. 2. Application Deadline: Application deadline is Monday, April 1, 2024 . Applications received after April 1, 2024, will be considered if space is available. Vendors will be notified of acceptance no later than Monday, April 15, 2024. The Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market committee reserves the right to decline vendor from participating. 3. Only fully paid market vendors will be listed on the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce Website and social media. 4. Space is not guaranteed for those with less than 6 reserved market days. 5. Refunds: “No-show” vendors are not eligible for a refund. The Market Managers reserve the right to remove vendors who miss more than 3 registered market days without notification, reserves the right to cancel participation at future markets should tardiness/leaving early, product quality or other factors impede the Market’s success. Fees will not be refunded if you are removed from the market for tardiness or repeat unexcused absences. Breech of market rules/policies and repeat tardiness and/or no-shows may impact decisions for future market acceptance. 6. Vendor Set-up: Vendors will set up between 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and must have their space ready by 8:00 a.m. The designated Market Master reserves the right to prohibit a vendor from setting up if arrival is after 7:45 a.m. Vendor must display vendors license during every market registered. License to be provided by Market Master. Vendors must stay until Noon. Should weather conditions become such that the Market Master feels it is best to close the Market early, they will notify vendors. Notification will also be posted the the Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market Facebook page. 7. Vendor is to clean up their space(s) at the close of each market day. No trash or debris is to be left in the market area. Maximum of 1 secured large bag of trash may be left next to a city trash can. Trash cannot be placed in any city-owned dumpsters. 8. Tables and tents are not provided. Tents, which are required, must be sturdy, have no larger than a 10’ x 10’ canopy and must be secured with APPROPRIATE tent weights, ( we recommend no less than 20 pounds per leg). Tables and tents may not impede pedestrian traffic. Displays must be neat and orderly. Vendor spaces must be kept clean and sanitary. 9. Vendor spaces and parking. Spaces are approximately 10’ x 10’ and priority will be given to returning full-time vendors, who pay in advance for the season. All other applicants will be placed on a first come, first-serve basis. Spaces will be assigned to minimize any vacant spaces and most spaces include parking. Parking spaces next to your assigned spot(s) are not guaranteed. 10. All food trucks must be properly licensed with city, state and/or federal agencies. Any food truck using propane and/or deep frying for food preparation must have a fire extinguisher that is compliant with safety codes and procedures. 11. It is the responsibility of the vendor prior to opening day to obtain any licenses and/or permits that are required and/or necessary. Vendor must be able to produce these documents upon request. Vendors must and are expected to comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations of the State of Ohio, City of Grove City (which includes the Franklin County Health Department regulations and inspectors). 12. Vendors may share on space on the condition that both vendors are approved independently of one another by the Market Managers. Vendors who wish to share a space shall submit completed documents. An additional fee may be applied to market fee for shared space.

1. Allowed Products. Generally, items grown in a greenhouse, garden or field may be sold at the Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market. Vendors are permitted to sell vegetables, fruits, garden products and herbs, live plants, flowers, or food items prepared by the vendor (i.e., jams, jellies, bread, cookies, etc.).For examples of Natural Artisan items please see number 5. Please note that a vendor that is not exempt because of the types of food they are selling (i.e. a product other than one listed above) must still be licensed and or regulated by a local health department and must abide by all licensing and/or permitting requirements . 2. All packaged and or prepared items must be labeled with a list of all ingredients and preparer contact information (name and full address). Cottage food vendors must meet labeling requirements in accordance with Ohio Department of Agriculture specifications. See: https://agri.ohio.gov/divisions/food-safety/resources/cottage-food. Fresh meat, cider, cheese, dairy, eggs and other potentially hazardous foods are subject to additional requirements for licensing, labeling and handling. Good Neighbor Policy – We expect all of our exhibiting artists to show respect and courtesy to their booth neighbors. Please do not engage in any activities that will decrease your neighbor’s ability for success. Do not be rude, loud, encroach on their space, engage their customers inappropriately, use strong smelling chemicals, play music too loudly, or in any way be disrespectful. 4. Farmers, greenhouses, or other agricultural-related business must produce 60% of the products they are selling. Anything not grown or produced by seller must be clearly marked with where it came from and where it was grown. Products that are re-sold and/ or not made in Ohio MUST be labeled as such either on the individual packaging or at the vendor’s tent at customer eye level. 5. All Natural Artisan Vendors may only sell approved handcrafted or functional items made from all natural or farm made products. These items must demonstrate quality of craftsmanship and are approved via photos submitted to the Market Master. Commercial items may be used to enhance the product, but 75% of the item must be the result of handcrafting by the vendor. The Farmers' Market selection committee reserves the right to limit the number of Natural Artisan vendors at any Farmers' Market Saturday . Preference will be given to Ohio related products and/or Ohio-sourced materials. If space becomes limited preference shall be given to those selling consumables. 6. Prohibited Products. The sale or display of live animals, alcohol, tobacco, CBD and cannabis products are not permitted at the Market. Our market is committed to small farmers and food producers. Corporations, direct sales/multi-level marketing companies, etc. are not permitted to vend as weekly vendors. We welcome these organizations to participate through sponsorship. 7. Smoking is prohibited at the Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market per ORC 3794.02 and Grove City Ordinance 903.28. See https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3794.02 8. Liability insurance is highly recommended but not required. 9. Scales should be capable of approval by the Columbus Division of Weights and Measures. You may contact them at (614) 645-7397. 10. Pricing. Prices are to be displayed clearly and should reflect fair market value. Below-cost pricing is prohibited. Vendors shall follow the guidelines set forth by the Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 901: 6-7 Packaging and Pricing of Food and Nonfood Products. 11. The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, The Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market Committee and its volunteers shall not be held liable for personal injury or personal property damage or loss by vendors or shoppers from sales or presence at the market. 12. By participating in the Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market, you give consent to all photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings taken of you, your staff, or volunteers. You understand that such photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings become the property of the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, and may be used by the Market, the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, or others with their consent, for instructional or promotional purposes determined by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce. 13. The Grove City Chamber Farmers’ Market Committee reserves the right to modify these Rules & Regulations as necessary.
