Maintenance & Quality Technician - 3rd Shift

Pay Starts at $30 per hour, plus shift differential
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Document maintenance and quality control activities
Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements
• Train other employees on maintenance and quality control procedures
• Respond to emergency situations in accordance with maintenance protocol
• Responsible for basic facilities repairs (basic plumbing, piping, and mechanical repairs)
Sourcing and supervising third party contractors with advanced HVAC, plumbing, and electrical skills, when necessary.
• Assist with operations and perform operational tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in a maintenance role
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to safety-first culture
• Availability to respond to emergencies as needed
• Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to build, implement, and track a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
• Attention to detail: maintenance issues must be documented and reported
• Able to confidently solve complex problems quickly, while controlling costs
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Previous experience as a maintenance electrician/mechanic in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Technical degree or certification in maintenance, engineering or related field Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification in maintenance, engineering technology, or related field strongly preferred
