Banquet Server

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner during events and brunches.
• Set up banquet tables, ensuring they are properly arranged and decorated according to event specifications.
• Clear tables efficiently and promptly, ensuring a clean and organized environment for guests.
• Collaborate with the event team to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service throughout the event.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens and decorations.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Work as a team player, supporting and assisting fellow banquet staff as needed.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
• Weekend and late night availability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic event environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as per event schedules.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move event equipment.
• Prior experience as a banquet server or in a similar role preferred.
• Understanding and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
